Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

We have finally found a man both ape and human, and that man is Andy Serkis. His performance as Caesar is an inspiration, he levitates this movie to a whole other level. Every scene he is in he steals. This apes sequel is a genuine tale trekking on darker tones and more serious themes. After all of the summer movie trash we get, here is a movie so authentic it only needs a few ape fist fights and one epic battle sequence to be satisfactory as a mid-july flick. If I were given a choice, I would take 10 more Apes films than the dozen Transformers, Avengers trash we get nowadays.
