    Elektra

After seeing the Elektra character in the crappy Daredevil, I was a bit skeptical about seeing this movie. But I made the right choice in seeing it. Elektra is a fast-paced action-packed movie wonder. I wouldn't exactly put it in the category of super-hero, because is follows more along the lines of amazing Asian-cinema such as Hero and Musa, with the supernatural driven stroyline that keeps you wondering throughout the entire film. The acting in the film is on par with films such as X-Men and Hellboy (superb to say the least) and Jennifer Garner plays a very much more realistic Elektra than she did in Daredevil. Another reason to see it is that there is no Ben Affleck, Jude Law, or Leonardo DiCarpio to take away the electrifying performances of the unknown (yet terrific) or lesser known cast; including Cary Horiko-Takagawa (sp? )(Mortal Kombat) and Terence Stamp (Star Wars Episode I) All in all a really entertaining film that I would love to see again on the big screen. 9/10.
