There were some scenes that attempted to be good, and there were a few breathtaking scenes, however, all in all Flyboys was a skydive into the garbage. Once the boys flew up into the clouds, it was intense, exciting, and captivating. Once they landed, nap time. The acting was so bad I wish Leo DiCaprio was in this film. James Franco can't act worth his life with his goofy grin of his, and he can't lead a film to success. Whenever the captain said," Rollings, you're the special one for some reason and you get special treatment so here's a letter of recognition for some reason," I wanted to nuke Franco's face off. First of all, he broke so many rules in the war that no one should ever break, and he was never given a second chance. The captain kept on allowing him to do what he wished, and for that it didn't feel like a true war because everything seemed so simple. Flyboys is poor example of WWI, and it's one of the worst war films ever filmed. So bad.
