I like Rob Zombie's music, but his directing abilities leaves much to be desired. His reboot of the first Halloween movie had a good story, but this sequel is just a series of gruesome, bloody murders. The killings that Jason uses in the new Friday The 13th are more varied and original than the ones employed by Michael Myers here. There are also dream sequences that don't seem to make much sense. Even though most of this film takes place at night, better cinematography should have been used to make the images clearer. The parts that I think worked well were whenever Malcolm McDowell (as Dr. Loomis) appeared.
