It never hurts to make these movies longer because the books get longer too. The new director Mike Newell squished a huge plot into 2 1/2 hours quite overwhelmingly. Leaving enough room for character growth and development in the story. I feel that maybe they overplayed this movie, however with plenty of action, teenage innuendo's and much bigger and intriguing magic for any moviegoers eye, Goblet of Fire is bigger and better than ever, and it's a ride worth taking.
