I'd give this more stars if the director didn't shake the camera so much. I don't understand why they do that. It's so hard on the eyes. I know it's for effect, but come on, some of us want to watch the movie not a shaky screen. Anyway, the acting was superb. Love the way the arrogance of the two lead men basically destroyed everything. It sure made them reflect on their humanity. The one line Captain Pollard stated "God made us in his image, we are kings, a superior species." and Chris Helmsworth's character Owen Chase said, "Do you feel like a king now?" after everything was lost. (or something along that line) It was an epic look at their own superior existence. Loved it.
