It’s a shame about Murphy. That is what got me watching this. But I can see why I passed over it. Two things that don’t go together in a male vocabulary. Romantic and comedy. The predictable slapstick is pathetic and you should be ashamed seeking out to laugh at other people’s misfortune. It’s just not funny. Murphy seemed like a natural though. Oh and did I say predictable slapstick? Why stop there, EVERYTHING is predictable, especially the stupid ending. I’m sorry, a spouse that throws hot coffee on me, or lies to foreign customs agents about me in order to cause trouble doesn’t get a second chance.
