I thought this movie was a great concept of God's wrath by bringing on the apocalypse and letting mankind know that he had overstepped his boundaries by not believing in or honoring Him. The storyline held my attention throughout and I was surprisingly entertained. Besides that, this film has a very engaging yet simple plot. I found the relationship between the archangels particularly interesting, but it could have used just a bit more explanation. However, I thought Paul Bettany's portrayal of Michael, the archangel was excellent. I must also commend Dennis Quaid and Charles S. Dutton for their incredible performances as well. There are also some well choreographed action/fight scenes, especially with the final showdown between Micheal and Gabriel. Also, the movie has similarities to "The Mist"," The Reaping", and "The Terminator" all rolled into one. This flick was not really scary however, but it does keep you on the edge of your seat. There are a few gory scenes that are sure to make you shudder. My only criticism is that I was a little taken aback by the gratuitous use of profanity since this is supposed to be a religious themed film. Other than that "Legion" was a very thrilling movie. Go see it now.
