No, it's not a masterpiece as the 10/10 rating would make it seem, but it is one of the best action films in a Long, Long time. The last time and action film of this caliber was released was back in the good old days when John Woo, Michael Bay and John McTiernan made ACTION movies for the action and not for studio profit (I'm talking about Face/Off, The Rock and Die Hard 1 and 3, respectively) If you loved the gritty, exciting action films of the 80's and early 90's, you'll love this film too.

It's nothing close to a masterpiece, it's alright, but it's enrtiety didnt hold. Masterpieces have an amazing story, and it's not all action, the godfather, in its own genre (covering many itself) was much closer to a masterpiece then this.
"Best actions films in a Long, Long time"... How Long? Since Transformers (2007), POTC: At World's End (2007), 300 (2007, Casino Royale (2006), etc... !!!?
