Lockout was an okay movie. Taken was better though.

Something happened on the way to production. This movie was light on any credible sci-fi substance. The plot was paper thin, the effects weak and meager, and the acting... well, what little there was wasn't enough to save the film. Guy Pierce is the saving grace as opposed to Maggie Grace, who portrays a character you want to hate as much as the convicts terrorizing the space prison. In the end it's mindless and far from riveting but not the worst I've seen.

It was really a suspense movie. It was really farfetched, but still, it was good.

I went in hoping for something along the lines of "Escape From New York". Not a great movie but has a fair amount of action, funny dialogue, and a good antihero in Guy Pearce. Silly and fairly predictable plot but still a decent time waster.

This movie could have been way better but it looked like they just didn't care or it was kinda rushed t get it done so to speak. Don't get me wrong some scenes were pretty good but...

I'm glad I didn't see this one one the big screen. The preview was very interesting, but the movie itself was predictable and boring. Many things don't make sense, but Lockout was simply too much for me.
