    Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom

When a great and influential man like Nelson Mandela dies, the tendancy is to immortalize the man as something of a saint. Thankfully, this film manages to portray Mandela the man not only as great, but also as the flawed human man he was. Idris Elba is wonderful, equal parts fiery passion and gentle, contemplative restraint. Naomie Harris is also excellent as his 2nd wife Winnie who tends more toward the revolutionary side then the peacefull one. Doesn't delve as deep into Mandela's radical efforts as it does his imprisonment, for obvious PG-13 reasons but remains the best example of Mandela's life yet brought to the big screen.
