Money Monster

I don't know how much of a dramatic thriller 'Money Monster' is, but that matters little. Labels are often outright inconsistent or even laughable. In any case, George Clooney has never been more 'GEORGE CLOONEY' as in this present film. Do you note the difference of his character before the camera and when he is away from it? Though Georgie Boy co-stars with Julia Roberts, the two are rarely on the screen together, but somehow this becomes the electrical conduit by which the film sort of works in my estimation. I found this a hard film to rate. Certainly Jodie Foster was competent as director... yet I feel hard pressed to score this film very highly.
