I can only add that this movie touched me like no other in recent years. Seeing a lad of colour charter his course in life aided by a few is simply a beautiful experience. There will be nominations galore for this film, The New York Times already heralding it as the best film of 2016. Marhershala Ali, the boy's mentor will win hands down the Best Supporting Actor of the year! This is not the typical gay film put out for a world market. It's purpose is not sexploitation but ambitions of a much higher standard!
