Synopsis
Matt (Wes Bentley) can't get over his former girlfriend, Cassie (Melissa Sagemiller), even though she has a new boyfriend, Sean (Casey Affleck). But when a devastating car accident involving Cassie, Matt, Sean, and Cassie's best friend Annabel (Eliza Dushku) leaves Sean dead, shattered Cassie returns to college and Matt puts off Harvard to take care of her. But Cassie remains haunted by the accident, obsessed with Sean and tormented by guilt. Strange and frightening things begin to happen to her. Suspended between life and death, Cassie is no longer sure where she belongs.
