Prometheus

In spite of what Ridley claims... this is very much a prequel to the original alien movie. There are definitely very strong clues to the original alien movie. It is also NOT a prequel as Ridley says in the fact that the worlds are very different in fact one of them the one in this movies actually a moon around a planet. There are all sorts of connections a person could make to the alien franchise to blade runner the predator movies ( yes even to the AVP movies. In fact one could even make connections to carpenters thing movie and its prequel. I was slightly disappointed none the less in the movie. It was predictable and and portrayed scientists in a bad light (much like the thing prequel did) As a scientist myself I can understand why most scientists would ignore self preservation to publish something astounding and mind boggling. However and fortunately I am not one of them. I don't need to keep asking why or how. It would be enough to know that when and where will happen and leave well enough alone.
