I call this a masterpiece after watching footage and reading about the real Bethany Hamilton. Her faith, attitude and compassion is incredible. The acting/lines isn't always the best, but the inspiring true story more than makes up for it. NOTE - Stay til the end to see the credits (it's worth the wait) Love seeing actors I haven't seen in movies lately like Sorbo, Hunt and Nelson. Loved the faith aspect of the movie. So refreshing to see GOD talked about in a film. Although there is some violence due to the action that took Bethany's arm, this is a family friendly movie. Deals with real life issues like the importance of family, the need to love and care for one another. No unnecessary sex scenes or vulgar language to spoil it. Enjoy the film! This is worth seeing!
