    Stormy Weather

An anomaly from 1943 from 20th century Fox in that an all black cast carry an entire movie and with aplomb as well. It's very exciting to see and hear a young Lena Horne in her prime and Bill Robinson dong his dance numbers. Perhaps the pinnacle is the Nicholas Brothers amazing routines that seem impossible to execute by a normal human being. The story itself is a fairly simple one and really is only an excuse to see this great black talent that would only be used sporadically in any number of musical films that would feature some black talent. Talk about bigotry and racism.
