I had seen this film at Concordia (Loyola College) This was one of the first horror movies and it was noted to be a highlyguarded film. It was done in the 1920s. I did not realize when I had started to see this film what I was expecting. To me I would it had a very cool direction. The sets in he film was really amazing as well it was considered to be a silent film. The actors really ahd put alot of enthusiasm and had done an exceptionally good job expressing themselves. The beginning was rather dull and boring and found it very creepy. It was unfortunately made before World War ll, This film is about a guy telling this other guy about why his girlfirend walks round llooking like a ghost. He had talked to the other guy about this Dr. Calligari who has a sideshow with this other guy named Cesare with black ey makeup who had slept alot and was able to tell the future like a fortune teller. He had mentioned that the doctor tells the people that they are going to die and then he begins to kill them himself. The doctor happens to be the head of the institution. They had mentioned that this happens to be a mental paatient at a mental instution. The doctor said that he knew how to cure him. It was interesting at the end.
