Martin Scorsese's best film. He combines his unique style of criminal presentations portrayed in classics such as Goodfellas, Casino, and Mean Streets and fuses it together with a dramatic storyline focussed much on the dilemma of each character that Scorsese has never presented before. The mixture results in a dramatic crime classic, and a film that could possibly be used in film classes to present the brilliant use of dilemmas, and the conflict and ultimate result which leads from the dilemmas. The Departed is well titled, and brilliantly portrayed. One of the best dilemma films ever presented.
