A brilliant comedy from Sam Wood from once great studio RKO Pictures. Jean Arthur is the heroine of the piece working in a department store owned by Charles Coburn. Coburn is worried about unions and agitators and so starts a polemic with wonderful twists and turns, a lot of good laughs, a love story and a premise that you would never have thought possible. Delightful, light comedy that is both entertaining and leaves one with a rich lesson about humanity! These stars of yesteryear were truly amazing actors and artists that made everything look so simple.
