BRAVO on every level. Terrific story that literally draws the viewer into the entire drama. Melissa Leo as the mother, who won an Oscar, was out of this world fiendishly fantastic as was Oscar Winner Christian Bale who physically lost some 40+ pounds to convincingly play the son/brother. Amy Adams, as usual, was terrific. I've yet to see her give a bad performance. I felt in my gut it was so unjust to have Mark Whalberg the lone member of the cast not to be Oscar Nominated. Not only did he deliver a solid performance, but were it not for him, THE FIGHTER would never have been made!

The Fighter was actually quite good. Not as good as David O. Russell's other films like American Hustle and Silver Linings Playbook, but still very good.

The Fighter was pretty good. The worst David O. Russell movie, only because all his movies are good.

Christian Bale delivers one of the best performances I've seen in my life. Great story, well made...

Interesting to see the other side of the story and how people see it differently that is. A good one to see.
