This is a beautifully, well crafted film, with an unforgettable tale that you will not soon forget. Like a great mystery novel you can't put down, this movie keeps you glued to the screen. I was totally drawn into the story. I thought Edward Norton did an outstanding performance of portraying the magician. I'd say this is one of his best roles yet. Of course Paul Giamatti and Jessica Biel were just as astonishing at playing their characters. I also enjoyed the way the story was set in the Edwardian era. I thought the hair styles and vintage clothing were exact duplicates of that time. Aside from that, the film's ending will definitely grab you, as there is quite a twist to it that you will not see coming. The general scenery throughout the movie is without a doubt breathtaking. It is with the greatest hope that "The Illusionist" will win an oscar, as it should be recognized as a grand masterpiece. Go see this movie and experience an illusion for yourself. ENCORE!
