Sean Connery and Michael Caine play two ex British soldiers adrift in Colonial India that are in search of adventure and gold in far off Kafiristan. Told in flashback by a ragged one-eyed beggar type to a man in a train compartment who is none other than Rudyard Kipling the author of "The Man Who Would Be King", tells of Sean Connery's character who is mistaken for a God because of a Mason's pendant he's wearing that has the all seeing eye on it and the natives of the region mistakenly take him for the reincarnation of Alexander the Great fulfilling an ancient prophecy. Full of amazing scenery, the great chemistry of Connery and Caine and a truly entertaining adventure story make this a timeless classic.
