The movie had an appeal to me for three reasons: 1) It stars Johnny Depp 2) He plays a journalist and 3) it’s set in Puerto Rico, a country I visited. Johnny Depp plays Paul Kemp, a freelance journalist who is invited to come and write horoscopes for a run-down journal in the Caribbean. From the mind who brought you Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, this movie is a fun 2-hour ride if you’re looking for something different. It won’t win any accolades, but for fans of Hunter S. Thompson or Johnny Depp, it’s worth the ride.
