The main character, like the one in "Slaughterhouse 5", is unstuck in time. This movie also bears similarities to the recent Sandra Bullock romance "The Lake House". This is the first film that I've seen with Eric Bana where I actually like him. It was also a pleasant surprise to see Arliss Howard working again (over 20 years since "Full Metal Jacket") Of course, if a person were really to jump back and forth through time, it would drive him (and the people around him) insane but, for this romantic fantasy to work, one has to ignore that fact. This was a very enjoyable two hours well-spent.

I usually like to read long movie descriptions to have a better understanding of the movie I want to see. But given the fact you gave the Hangover a 10, it completely nullifies the 9 you gave for The Time Traveler's Wife. I apologize for this comment, and I do understand we 'may' have different tastes.
