If this were the only documentary of the Holocaust and WW II suffering, I would rate this film much higher. Though it does have a bit of a twist, I have seen so many holocaust docs, a great many, in fact, which have won Oscars as best Feature Length Documentary. It's sad to deny this doc its full due, because of the suffering and anguish of so many, but how many of these films can we possibly keep seeing on a regular basis over 70 years after the horrendous fact. I am not at all belittling or minimizing the horror that occurred, but simply the familiarity of the material. We should never forget this genocide on such a massive scale.
