    Click here to show this review.     Went to see this movie today at the Cineplex Ottawa. It was very well done. My wife had read the book and commented that was somewhat Hollywoodized. There was a point in the book where they all cheered for Louis. I thought that Angelina Jolie would have had the movie make a greater impact on Moviegoers if the Prisoners had all Cheered when "Bird" fell to his knees exhausted, with Louis having won out over his Japanese captor.
