You know this is one great little hidden movie people don't talk much about. It certainly has a lot of good things going for it. First is the spectacular performances in my view of Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Fanning. True, it is a coming of age story not unlike many others, but it also highlights the fact, in very relatable ways, that we are humans and we inevitably make mistakes, especially in the realm of relationships. Nevertheless, Elizabeth Olsen is one that is quietly making her way through the ranks, by taking on pretty diverse roles. She was spectacular in Martha, Marcy, and has appeared nonchalantly in a number of movies almost without making headlines. The fact that she can convingly play happy and traumatized characters convincingly, really puts her in high regards. She'll be getting her big big break in the upcoming Avengers movie as the Scarlet witch and to be honest, its overdue. I liked this movie and I'm a guy. I'm sure women will have much more to relate to and being the target audience will love it that much better. It deserves a 7.5, but seeing as though no one has reviewed this movie, I'll give it an 8 hoping others will catch onto it.
