The heartache and sorrow that come from a tragic event that seems to wipe out one's entire world. It's all the more meaningful as the events actually did occur around 1970 in the U. S. It certainly does prove that life can be very fleeting and ultimately decimated by accident or by some act of nature. To call this film a cliché is totally ridiculous as it is based on hard, solid facts of what actually occurred... with, I'm sure, some poetic license for continuity!
