We Bought a Zoo

When I saw some pictures about this movie and that it was put away in the familial movie section, I wasn't sure about renting it. On the other hand, I was interested in seeing Matt Damon playing this kind of role, which is considerably different from the others he's used to play. Finally, it turned out that I just enjoyed seeing this movie, and mostly when I realized that it didn't contain a classic and basic story as I expected. In fact, I was surprised to see how dramatic some scenes were. The acting was also surprisingly excellent, from all the characters. Predictable maybe, but the end was exactly the one we were hoping for. One last point that I would like to bring up; this is not a typical movie made for children, even if it seems to be so. The context, conversations and languages are not appropriates for children. I think that it is an adult movie mistaking and passing off for a children movie due to the familial environment where the story takes place in (the zoo) In brief, it was a quite surprising movie starring Matt Damon where he proves us that he can also play in a dramatic comedy film.
