    Why Did I Get Married?

In an attempt to tackle issues revolving around marriage and the burdens that often come with it... this movie is shallow at best. The entire cast had a great time making the film because it is obviously clear that they didn't take their roles too seriously. Michael J'ai White should never have taken part in this film. With his muscular frame and obvious lack of acting ability, he belongs in strictly action movies that require very little dialogue. Janet Jackson was hardly convincing as she tried to force herself to cry in a number of scenes. I could go on and on sighting all the flaws in this movie but my point has been made. Worth watching if you don't take any of it seriously. Tyler Perry tried to address a number of couples issues and then solve them all before the end credits. This movie should have been made for television.
