Click here to show this review. Wow! If someone ask me what my favorite movie is for this year, I would certainly name this one. Obviously, I went seeing this movie in French because the original version wasn't available at the movie theater where I went in, but without any doubts I will watch it again in English next time. This movie's worth seeing it cause of the stressful atmosphere, the panic and of course the sense of humanity conveyed from the beginning to the end. It really stands out from the other zombie movies by the tremendous creation of the suspense, compared to the other ones which more focus on the horror with too much pointless bloody scenes. For example, I was constantly on the edge of my seat during all the movie long, trying to anticipate what's gonna happen and feeling the emotions of the scene like I was into it. The main actor, Brad Pitt, even surprised me and played very well, telling us that he still can play different kind of roles without any problems. The only thing that disappointed me is the lack of scientific explanation of the pandemic. As a scientific myself, I would have preferred to know a little bit more about the fictitious virus. In addition, Brad Pitt character's function is not well described and consequently, I was confused about his job when he flied away with the marine team. Overall, it is «a must see» if you like suspense movies, and it resembles to the movie «I am legend» interpreted by Will Smith.
