Compared to a string of very bad, weak movies that premiered these last 2 months, this is definitely worth a 10 for me. Excellent FX, very good cast (when you have Kevin Bacon in your cast, you can be sure he's gonna own it to his part), James Mc Avoy was surprisingly a good pick for a young Professor X. It was entertaining, funny, riveting... The storyline was slightly intricate; any fan of the original comics, will appreciate how they unraveled the events behind Magneto, Professor X and Mystic's relationships. I know get the man and I must say that young Magneto is yummy. The nice cameos of two members of the 3 others X-Men movies were also delightful. I've seen Thor (eew), Green Lantern's and Captain America trailers and I think that X-Men: First Class will be the best Marvel movie adaptation of this spring/summer. The movie isn't filled of not-so-funny jokes thrown here and there to fill out the blanks of a simple-minded or nonexistent background story. If you grew up like me, glued to your Marvel Comics in the 80s, you'd probably spend the rest of your summer in your attic.
