I enjoyed this film, even though I found it slow in parts. Nice performances, although as some reviewers have mentioned, a little cliched. I particularly liked Chris Pine's performance.

Not a bad flic but not great. The acting is top notch and the story is nothing new, Banks as corporations and their customers and the large wealth divide. Terrific soundtrack though.

This 5th BEN HUR movie is good but not a masterpiece as the 1959 one that starred Charlton Heston, and that won a record of 11 Oscars... It's quite different from the 1959 film and, despite the new technology, the filming with "moving camera" (quick shots) is quite annoying. The chariot race was the best part despite the '2-second- camera shooting'... In other words, BEN HUR 2016 is worth seeing especially by those who haven't seen the 1959 movie...

A decent, probably true plot line with Miles Teller and Jonah Hill who has got to be the luckiest actor in the world to get to where he is as a character actor. Too much hype on this film which proved to be just a fair film. It's not particularly well written and truly lacks proper character development. I don't think an actor like Jonah Hill, as talented as he may be, can ever carry a movie completely on his own. He'll always need a side buddy or do good work in a supporting role.
