    55 Days at Peking

One of the greatest adventure films of the 60's tells the story of the Chinese Boxer rebellion backed by the Dowager Empress of China against a very small contingent of foreign nationals that were posted in Peking in their consulates and embassies during the late 1800's. Outnumbered by a huge force against them these valiant stalwarts fought against insurmountable odds and held their bastion for an incredible 55 days until reinforcements could arrive. With a stellar cast of the biggest stars of the day, 55 days is an exciting adventure and worthy of viewing if you have never seen it. You won't be disappointed. 55 Days at Peking delivers the goods and how.
