This movie left me breathless. The acting was suburb, the film-making was brilliant, the story line was mesmerizing. As a 50+ white female, I am not much into war movies and only went to see it because of all the good press and the upcoming Oscars. But this movie was so so so much more. I had honestly forgotten that it is the true story of Chris Kyle until the very end. The auditorium was practically full on a cold, rainy Sunday afternoon and at the end of the movie, all you could hear was quiet sobbing. I've never every heard such a silence when so many people were exiting the auditorium. A fitting a beautiful to an American Hero. Do yourself a favor and see American Sniper.
