While watching this film I often felt I was watching a US armed forces recruiting ad. It was just a little too "raw-raw" for my tastes. While Bradley Cooper did a fine job with the role as an actor, I fault the screenwriters and film production company for not getting the "balance" right. There needed to be more of a counterpoint voice present to raise conscience about what was actually taking place in Iraq. Matt Damon in the "Green Zone" achieved that balance.
