A glorious, historical movie... yet one more look at Henry VIII, this time with his second wife Anne Boleyn. This is a massive tapestry of a movie with Richard Burton astonishing as Henry VIII and Genevieve Bujold as the doomed Queen. Both were Oscar Nominated in 1969 but both lost, Richard to John Wayne and Genevieve to Dame Maggie Smith. Everything about these astonishing 1000 days are represented in the feature in very grand fashion: script, costumes, direction, acting and more, a film that received 10 Oscar Nominations.
