The quintessential and grand-daddy of all Woody films though this was hardly his first film. What Annie Hall did was bring Allen to the echelons of great directors and he has never looked back since. The film was so influential in many areas: Judaism, doctrine, philosophy, fashion, relationships almost every aspect of life and won Woody his only best film Director Oscar to date. The kooky Diane Keaton created a look that became quite popular and one which she still dons occasionally to this day. Her Oscar for this role was somewhat surprising.
