A fantastic English drama all played out as the days of the rich and privileged are dwindling evermore and England is fast approaching the start of WW II. Though a personal drama of wrongful accusations, it's impossible to wonder what the lives of those involved COULD have been if life had been just a bit fairer. It was first encounter with James McAvoy, and he has since turned out to be one of my favourite leading male actors. Keira K. is very good, but Saorise Ronan as the younger girl is dynamic as she acts to an Academy Award Nomination in a supporting role for 2007.
