Before Midnight is the third movie of a series. This is the first movie I have ever seen where there is basically no plot and is simply a dialogue about life, marriage, infidelity, family, and personal goals. I give the movie points for its originality to be based on simply dialogue (no plot) and its setting in beautiful Greece. However, the dialogue was empty, crude, disrespectful, unintelligent, and boring. Basically, you have no empathy for the characters in this film (especially Julie Delpy’s character) and it is obvious to see why they are in the predicament they are in. The movie has no direction and you wonder why you spent almost two hours watching nonsense.
