Brooklyn

I'm an action guy. I like action movies. Brooklyn is as far away from that type of genre as can possibly be. It's a very simple movie in which not much really happens. A young awkward woman leaves her native Ireland and settle across the ocean in Brooklyn. She's homesick at first and then finds love. Then, after tragedy strikes back home, she returns to Ireland for personal reasons. The suspenseful part of the film is whether she'll stay in Ireland or return back to Brooklyn,  Spoiler alert - click to reveal textwhere true love awaits her. That is basically what the movie is about but, for a man who likes action movies, I've got to say that I actually enjoyed the film. It was sweet and touching and kind of tugged at my heart strings. I liked it.
