Back in the early 1950's Disney produced a series of truly excellent short nature films marketed as "True Life Adventures". Later, in the mid/late fifties, Disney extended this franchise to two excellent feature-length true-life adventures entitled "The Living Desert" and "The Vanishing Prairie". I often wondered why Disney let this franchise drop, so I am glad to see it revived; "Chimpanzee" is a worthy continuation/revival. The story is well-told, and the cinematography, especially the close-up cinematography is stunning. There will be some who object to the voice-over narrative, but the narrative makes a story rather than just pictures. Definitely, go and see it.
