    Conan the Barbarian

Good movie, but I must compare to the original. Jason Momoa did an adequate job, but he doesn't have the arrogance of a future king that Arnold brought to the original. The good guys (Mako and Valerra) are irreplaceable. The secondary villians in 2011 are far more creative than the originals lunking meatheads. The music was too washy romantic and didn't have the raw edge of the originals scores. The original storyline and mental message created by the character Thulsa Doom played brilliantly by James Earle Jones was sadly lost in this washed out for political correctness 2011 storyline. Very dissapointed, but still a great mindless "action" movie. Hope they put the edge back into the next chapter.
