This movie made me sad. Why? Because in it a husband and father thought the way to "move on" was to bed any woman he could; because a teenage girl thought it was appropriate to give a man more than twice her age nude pictures of herself; because a wife's remedy for feeling neglected by her husband was to cheat on him; because a 13 year-old boy's intense infatuation with an older teenage girl is mistaken by everyone for love; because the boy's persistence in pursuing his infatuation is rewarded with porn, and so on. I found myself shaking my head at the incredible foolishness, selfishness, and shallowness of this film, especially because the writers of it obviously thought they were offering something deeper. It saddens me that such foolishness can be mistaken for wisdom. What else are you gonna' get from Hollywood, though, eh?
