Apparently based on real story, it is still not that great for a film. It takes a lot of time before the "action" begins. There is not much going on but quite interesting for people who like climbing. Good acting all around and a real sense of cooperation and friendship among those climbers. You have to wonder why those people will risk intentionally their lives in perilous situations without knowing really why. Then, they end up in terrible situations and have to be rescued. I saw it on IMAX 3D. Curiously the scenery is not exciting. The 3D glasses dim a lot the screen and the 3D effect seems like looking at miniatures sets.
