    Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

A fairly emotional film that tugs at your heart a little bit. The tragedy of 911 as seen by a young boy who may have Asperger Syndrome (he certainly seems to lack empathy and some social skills) The first half of the movie gets bogged down at times but it picks up steam when you find out what the mother had quietly done. Thomas Horn (the young boy) is excellent as is Bullock, Hanks, Sydow, and (of course) Viola Davis. Hard to watch at times early on but gets better as it goes along.
