Far too long and slow moving. I suppose Harry Potter fans will say they enjoyed it but as a movie it is not presented well. 90% of the movie has Harry and his two friends traipsing through the wilderness. There are many gaps in logic, even for characters who have wizard powers. The red-head simply acts 'dumb'while the female is always mad at someone... Very repetitive stuff. The special effects were moderately good but were in short supply. Don't bother seeing this money-grab. If you go to part two they will capsulate this puppy in the first five minutes... I am sure part 2 will be in 3-D so they can take more money from our pockets. It also seemed disappointing that the movie did not feature many of the characters that we are familiar with. The director strayed somewhat from the novel. So why not add a side-story that featured a few of the likable characters... Don't even rent this movie... unless you have insomnia.
