I'm not sure what to think of this movie, or the reviews on this site. I think 'not bad, could be much better' hits the mark perfectly. I thought the director relied too heavily on Carano throughout most off the movie. Had he balanced her inexperince in acting with a side-kick, it would have been a home-run. The action sequences were well done; Carano does all her own stunts, which shows; definitely a high point for the movie. Unfortunately for her, the director forgets to develop any of the characters, which is unforgivable considering the action scenes were spread out through the movie. I liked that it wasn't start-to-finish fight scenes, but if you're going to do that, character, and plot development are key. Carano will take the heat for this one, but the blame should be taken by the director, Soderbergh.
