    King Solomon's Mines

This version of H. Rider Haggard's "King Solomon's Mines" is an exciting tale of Safari adventures on the dark continent of Africa. The story about a woman looking for her lost husband with the aid of a dashing "Big White Hunter" safari guide played by the incredibly handsome Stewart Granger is one of the best early adventure films ever made. This movie still stands up 63 years after it was made. With a great storyline, acting and production values," King Solomon's Mines" is still very much worth seeing. Out on DVD, it can also be seen on late night television. Very satisfying.
